EmpowerHER: Sexual Violence Conference 2026 is a two-day, education and healing-centered conference dedicated to advancing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for Black women and African American communities impacted by sexual violence.
Rooted in this year’s theme, STILL WHOLE — Reclaiming Power. Restoring Dignity. Honoring Our Healing, the conference centers the truth that survivors are whole, worthy, and deserving of care that honors their lived experiences, resilience, and strength.
EmpowerHER brings together advocates, professionals, community leaders, faith-based partners, and individuals with lived experience to engage in meaningful education, dialogue, and restoration. Through a balance of learning and wellness, the conference creates intentional space for both accountability and healing.
- Day One focuses on education, awareness, and culturally grounded approaches to prevention, advocacy, and survivor support.
- Day Two, Healing the Healer, is a wellness-centered experience designed to restore and support those who carry the emotional labor of this work.
